It's interesting that a recent review rings true. To add insult to injury, the office acts as some sort of affiliate marketer selling customer's names to an outside company without consent. In fact, consent is not considered. No wonder they ask who referred you? And when your answer isn't what they are looking for, the secretary comes in the room repeatedly asking the same question while demanding, "We have to know!" It feels like an interrogation, but by then they have taken your pet to a room somewhere in the building, and after waiting an indeterminate length of time, you begin to panic as you peer through windows and doors to no avail. When the bill is prepared, there is whispering between at least 3 office workers. "Did you forget this? Did you add that? And then they announce the grand total while this customer slowly collapses at the realization of foregoing dinner for a month or two.
Best vet clinic. So caring
Two days and an ER visit later, diagnosis was made with pet "fully awake". Dr. Leck advised to return in two months for a "dental scaling" on 13-year-old pet without mention of contraindications or risks for geriatric patient. Nor was there any mention of follow up for limping. Instead I received a call from an outside company who received my personal information from Dr. Leck without my permission or consent. In fact, our private number is listed on the do-not-call registry.
I feel completely comfortable with my fur babies in Dr. Leck's care. Whenever I have had a concern, I can call and know that I will have an appointment the same day. The entire staff is warm, friendly and extremely caring. I only wish I could find a doctor for me who is as good as Dr. Leck!!
I have been to a couple of veterinary offices and hospitals in the Lehigh Valley. I was frustrated with never seeing the same vet twice and getting different information about my dog every time I went. Several years ago, I found Dr. Leck and I can't imagine taking my dogs (now there are 3 of them!) anywhere else. He is so completely thorough, knowledgeable and caring. I just read a review about overpriced dental cleanings and I can't express how untrue that is. My newest rescue girl came with the worst breath and I asked him if we should do a dental cleaning which I would have gladly paid for. He did not think it was necessary and instead recommended tooth brushing and some dental sticks which did the trick and did not cost me hundreds of dollars!
Leck is a wonderful vet! If you are tight financially he will do things according and still show the utmost love for your pet, we have seen him very upset over the loss of pets, especially the sudden ones. Please ignore those negative reviews, they DO NOT sell information out and they are great at the desk.
Dr. Leck is one in a million and I'm pretty sure I am the pickiest dog parent in world :) He provides the most thorough exam notes that you could imagine. My 13 year old girl had a cyst removed from her face and his surgery notes were even more impressive with minute by minute documentation of every single thing from the time her IV was inserted to the time she woke up and everything in between.
Outstanding service. They were patient and caring, explaining every detail of my dogs care. Highly recommend
